Happy New Year!

Carlsbad Beach, California

We spent some time boogieing the night away with my mom and nieces, Katherine and Taylor

The guys stayed downstairs and watched movies

Can you tell who had more fun??

The girls getting their groove on!  Katherine and Taylor, thanks for bringing the hats and noise makers . . .

Intermission time . . .

We fit in a game of Yahtzee before we rung in the New Year.  This was Liliah's first game and she rolled 2 Yahtzee's and beat her Nana (and everyone else) with a score of 426

Ringing in the Year of 2012 - thanks girls, we had a blast . . .

Family Visit

Auntie Diana and my cousin Katherine came to see us.  I made up a new name for my auntie, Di YaYa! We went to Eastern, WA for some  fun in the sun!

Having some girl time.  I really took to my auntie this time and let her hold me and carry me around.

Daddy took a couple of fly fishing classes.  He loved it and we'll be going back.

The view from our room.  There is a river that runs along the canyon just beyond the tree line.
We took a field trip to Roslyn where the TV show Northern Exposure was filmed
I spotted a flower I just had to have!
It was much harder to pull off, so K.T. helped me! K.T. spent all her time listening to me and playing with me.  We even took a bubble bath together.
We finished the weekend toasting marshmallows at home in our newly renovated backyard.  This was the first time we used our fire pit.
This was my first S'more!  Thank you for coming to see us auntie Di YaYa & K.T.  I also got to ride the Space Needle for the first time. Out on the observatory deck, I held on to my pony tails as I was concerned that they would fly away.
We had a great time with you and look forward to more family time together.  This was the perfect start to our summer.

Disneyland & Family Time

Mommy and I hopped on a plane to Orange County to see our family.  Here's most of my O.C. Posse minus Katherine (9) who is taking the picture.
Minnie has a house here! She planted such pretty flowers around her house that I tried to climb over the fence to see them up close.   This was my second trip to Disneyland.  I had my first visit over Christmas vacation.

I met Minnie for the very 1st time.  I was awestruck....I had so much fun inside her home....I hope she invites me back again.....

I was star struck meeting Mickey for the 1st time! I have been talking about him since I was 2 1/2.  I kissed him on his nose and blew him a kiss goodbye.

I was the most relaxed meeting Goofy.  I call him "Goopy" and I call my pigtails, "Goopy ears."

Tea cups with Auntie Diana and her girls . . .
Mommy and I had a sweet ride!  When we got in the car to go home I asked, can we do this again...and then passed out asleep before we made it to the freeway.   We enjoyed San Juan Capistrano w/Papa & Nana and had roadside tacos - yum! We had a family bbq and even wore our bathing suits to "swim" in the spa.  Thanks Uncle Randy & Auntie Lori for your all of your hospitality.  We came home with a little sunburn and lots of fun memories.

Look Who Came To Visit

Uncle Randy, Auntie Lori, Lacey and Kimberlee.  Thanks for coming to see us! We enjoyed visiting so much that I only have this picture to capture our time together.  We loved hanging out , eating out, shopping for so me new Fall items for our home and picking out a few new ornaments for the tree while in Leavenworth.  Liliah is still talking about you and how you love her. We feel so blessed to have you visit us twice a year!!!!  Big hugs and we'll see you at Christmas time :)

Liliah is very much into slides.  She saw this and knew right away that she wanted to go on it.  She has never been on anything like this and didn't hesitate to climb up to the top!

She is loving her ride down. . . . I love how she is fearless . . . . . she even spied a rock climbing tower and pointed to climb up that.....ah....I don't think so....not this year at least!

Family Time

Yeah, look who came to visit us.........Uncle Randy, Auntie Lori, Lacey & Kimberlee

My sister and her family came to enjoy a pre-Thanksgiving weekend with us.  They have never been to our home during the holidays so it was really special having them stay. We realized at one point that most of us were sitting with our laptops and Liliah was even on her play cell phone!  We had so much fun with you guys.....thank you for coming up and spending time with us.

We cooked ourselves up some Thanksgiving food and enjoyed each others company

Here is evidence of the homemade apple pie that my sister baked, YUMMY.  She doesn't even eat pie, but she sure knows how to make them.

We bundled up and did some shopping.  Darryl, Lilaih & I took some time out to feed the chicken & ducks.  This was her first time doing this and she loved it.

Come and get it...........

Liliah has just had some marionberry jam and I just couldn't miss the chance to capture.......she looked purplicious

4th of July, Mama's B-Day & Papa & Nana's Visit

Dinner @ the marina a few days after the 4th

Happy 1st 4th of July, Miss Liliah
new citizen of the United States of America!!!

Making bubbles for the first time on the 4th

Celebrating my birthday with my daughter was the best gift of all

Daddy & Papa being silly while grilling the ribs

Mommy planted this rose bush in our garden this year in honor of me. It's called, "A Dream Come True."

Playing with my sandbox is fun. I love to pour the sand in and make the whirly gig go, go, go, and dig around. I DO NOT like to play IN the sandbox

Nana & I with the red, white & blue

Family pow wow with the bubble maker

Looking for bubbles and sweating in the hot, hot weather....

Posing with Mommy at the lake while waiting for the firework show. Papa forgot his keys to the RV so he & daddy left to go get them and try to get back in time for the firework show. So, Nana, Mama & I hung out until the show started.

Love this picture.......

I'm having a ball trying out the trick Mama showed to do with my glow in the dark necklace

Then the show started......

My serious face came out and I decided to turn around without a peep, put my arms around my mama's neck and put my head on her shoulder. I liked the fireworks that were across the lake that I couldn't hear

Whenever I see mommy vacuuming, I quickly go and get mine. I mean really, what else would you like to be doing on a summer day

Playing with Nana

Playing with Papa

Look at the joy these two have on their faces. Liliah really does prefer men at this point in her life

Playing at the marina restaurant while waiting for our table (notice she will not put her toes in the sand....not even with shoes on)

Two very special & beautiful gals in my life

Liliah is so good when we take her out to eat. She enjoys coloring or stacking mimi creamer while waiting for her meal.
