Weekend Get-Away

Who could resist taking a picture with these 2 @ the zoo!
We are a bit sedated in our pose......I must admit......I pictured a little wilder pose.....like grass skirts or striking a surfing pose
........

We spent the weekend in Portland to attend a reunion picnic that was sponsored by our adoption agency with other families from the region. On Sunday prior to the picnic, we visited the local zoo which I loved. This was my favorite part of the weekend

Liliah L O V E S to hold her daddy's hand when I push the stroller. Poor thing did not feel well all weekend and then passed it on to me.....so having fun the WHOLE weekend was a challenge

Experiencing the salmon run with daddy......she loves to put her hands in water

She slept with us and started on pillows next to us under the covers. When we woke up in the morning, this is how we found her. She somehow crawled out of the covers and up onto the duvet cover

Kasey & Savannah posing with the boys
(our friends kids that we just love and are like an Uncle & Aunt to) Can you believe we spent the weekend with (1) toddler & (2) teenagers.....are we crazy or what? I know we are living on the wild side these days

2 girls on the farm

Riding the ponies....
This is as close to real animals that Liliah wanted to get to on this day

All aboard the zoo train
This zoo is the oldest zoo west of the Mississippi and was started by the local pharmacist in 1887 who loved to collect animals for a hobby

Liliah's 1st swing ride and she just giggled with delight

This is her @ home on Monday evening......still a sick baby along with her mama.....

I love you baby girl!
After this photo shoot, we went inside, got in bed early for a little snuggling and then lights out

Such cute pictures! Glad you had fun at the reunion, even though you weren't feeling so great. We love the zoo too! Hope everyone is feeling great by now!
