Liliah Reaches 18 Months Old

Love this sweet face.......

Liliah sleeps 8 - 10 hours a night & takes a 2 hour nap daily

I love this little inquisitive face that looks up at me daily. She has started initiating giving us kisses and makes the sound....MMM MA on our lips! She also is blowing kisses. She waves goodbye and I use this technique whenever we are shopping or changing an activity...we wave good bye. She is toddling steadily, has learned to feed herself. She has learned the sign for more and all done. When I show her her food, she points down excitedly at her tray....showing me to put it down! When she is done eating she picks up her tray up & places it on the table. She is so excited at feeding time and loves everything I offer her. Her new thing is to ask to chew on an ice cube from my drink when we stop for fast food & have a soft drink. She is very neat & brings me things from the floor she has found to throw away!!! We are just having the time of our lives with her

Taking in the beautiful sites. Darryl proposed to me on Balboa Island. We had dinner at Amelia's first and then he nervously walked me around this area for a while 'til he found the perfect spot to pop the question. I didn't think about it until we were there and realized this was the perfect place for her 1st time visit to the beach.

She was NOT fond of the sand and cried when her feet touched it......

My sister picking up some big, sweet strawberries for dessert when we got home - they were yummy....us northerners can't get good strawberries until May-June so they were a treat!

Liliah's Baby Shower

Thank you Cindy & Marcie for the special welcome home that you gave to us by throwing a party for Liliah. You along with ALL of the ladies that came made it a very special day.

A little pre-party mishap.......Miss Maddy snuck in and licked the whole front side of the cake while we ladies were pre-occupied with visiting! (You can see it if you click on the picture to enlarge) We're easy....we just sliced that side off...at least she was pretty neat about it and didn't land a paw in the middle of it.
